To provide effective management services to the tea sector for efficient production, processing and marketing of high quality tea. Currently, there are 53 tea processing factory limited companies of which KTDA Ltd is the managing agent. Save for two factories that have a processing capacity of 15 million Kgs of green leaf per year with a combined capacity in excess of 655 million Kgs per annum. With completion of Kapsara, there will be a total of 54 factories, with a combined annual processing capacity of 750 million Kgs
